Over 20,000 Alumni Contribute to $75M Fundraising Goal

Temple University reached it’s second-highest year in fundraising with contributions from alumni and other donors. Donations greatly surpassed the $75M fiscal year goal, totaling to almost $79M. Funds for student scholarships have increased due to these substantial gains. James Dicker, Vice President for Institutional Advancement, pointed out an increase in nearly 5,000 donations from the previous year. View More »

Gov. Wolf to Allow Budget to Go Into Effect

Governor Tom Wolf announced the 2015-16 budget will pass, which has and will directly affect Temple, and other state schools which rely on the state of Pennsylvania’s funding.  On Sunday the Governor will allow the law to go into effect. The governor said he would not veto the bill, which provides Temple with its funding from the state for the 2015-16 fiscal year. View More »

Students Honored by Phila. Sports Writers Association

Five students were honored at the Philadelphia Sports Writers Banquet that took place on Monday night. Among them were linebacker Tyler Matakevich and runner Blanca Fernandez, both student athletes for Temple. There were also two students from the School of Media and Communications who received recognition for their achievements in sports journalism by the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association (PSWA). Finals: Study Days, Exam Times

The onset of winter brings the end of the Fall 2015 semester, and late nights at Club TECH studying for final exams.  Fortunately, there will be two Study Days this semester: Tuesday, December 8, and Wednesday, December 9.
