Incumbent Toomey Re-Elected as PA Senator

Incumbent Senator Pat Toomey has been re-elected as Pennsylvania’s junior Senator. Toomey’s campaign beat out new-comer and democrat Katie McGinty. A spokesperson from the Toomey campaign says that Senator Toomey is “incredibly grateful to the people of Pennsylvania for being re-elected as PA’s Senator.” Toomey’s victory over McGinty was called shortly after midnight by the Associated Press. The 2016 election has been making history since the start and has continued the trend through voting day. District 2 candidate Chaka Fattah, who has been the representative for District 2 since 1994, lost the primary to newcomer Dwight Evans. Conference Inspires Women Entrepreneurs

Temple hosted its 17th Annual League for Entrepreneurial Women’s Conference on Wednesday.
