Temple Takes Next Step Toward Multipurpose Facility

On January 18th, President Richard M. Englert announced that Temple University will be taking the next steps in building a multipurpose facility on campus. In an email sent to the Temple community, Englert said, “I’m pleased to report that Temple is taking the next step in evaluating the potential for a multipurpose facility, including retail space and a stadium, on our Main Campus.” Talk about a stadium being built on campus has lasted almost two years, and it has caused great controversy with the people who live locally.
